The team delivers the full breadth of primary care services, from routine appointments and chronic disease management to urgent care and preventative health, ensuring every patient receives safe, effective, and compassionate support. Working closely with operational managers and senior leadership, the team oversees patient care delivery, appointment coordination, clinical record management, and service performance monitoring.

Main duties of the job The GP provides safe, effective, and high-quality patient care within a supportive environment. Working alongside an experienced mentor, the role focuses on developing clinical confidence and competence while contributing to routine practice operations. The GP will share an equal workload, support one or two areas of special interest, and actively participate in medical education.

Experience
Recent experience in general practice (can be during training).
Exposure to multidisciplinary team working
Understanding of clinical governance and patient safety principles
Previous involvement in teaching or supporting medical students

Qualifications
Full GMC registration with a licence to practice
Completion of GP training and inclusion on the GP register
Skills and knowledge
