Reporting to the Precision Services Manager, you will deliver a high-quality reproduction and breeding service. This includes providing expert advice, assisting customers in meeting reproductive objectives, and developing the Precision service. You will also be offered Cogent Internal Precision Training.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Detecting heats and inseminating cows
2. Recording observations, inseminations, and providing vet and attention lists for customers
3. Utilising chalk and electronic heat and health monitoring systems to identify cows in heat
4. Building effective relationships with customers to meet their breeding requirements
5. Managing customers' fertility data and herd reports
6. Running an efficient service using Cogent's heat detection system and herd management solutions for accurate artificial insemination
7. Preparing reports and detailed action plans for customers and the Team Leader
8. Collaborating with industry professionals such as Veterinarians and Nutritionists
9. Possessing dairy experience and good animal husbandry knowledge, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers
10. AI Qualified
11. Maintaining a professional, friendly attitude with excellent communication skills
12. Being highly organised, diligent, self-motivated, and resilient to challenges
13. Demonstrating a can-do attitude and team spirit to deliver high-quality service
14. Holding a full UK driving licence
