This full‑time Outpatient Administrator role is an essential member of the oncology outpatients team ensuring that patients are dealt with smoothly and efficiently in accordance with government access targets and the Trusts Access Policy.
The position is based at Nottingham City Hospital and operates Monday to Friday during core office hours of 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
Responsibilities
* Work closely with the clinical team to deliver quality care to oncology patients.
* Book patient appointments, chase patient information and reports, and process referrals and outcomes.
* Respond to patient and clinician enquiries via telephone and in person.
* Maintain patient data quality and accuracy using hospital computer and IT systems.
* Prioritise workload and manage a busy administration office.
* Adapt to changing priorities and employ problem‑solving approaches.
