We are currently recruiting Support Workers for a Supported Living Service for young people aged between 16 and 18 based in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent. Role: You will be providing support to children and young people with variety of emotional, social and mental health needs needs. As a Support Worker, you will be expected to provide care, companionship and general household duties as well as social activities essentially, doing everything a parent does You will work a shift pattern of 2 on and 4 off, including sleep-ins. Requirements: Ideally, you will have previous experience of supporting children and young people in a support living setting with a Level 3 NVQ in Children and Young Persons Workforce or equivalent. However, full training will be provided for the right person who can demonstrate: A passion for providing high quality care Excellent communication skills Friendly, caring and considerate nature Resilience and adaptability Must be reliable and able to commit to shift pattern Willing to undertake an enhanced DBS check Full UK Driving License is preferable If you have the relevant experience and would like to learn more, then please contact SaferHandCare and ask for more information.
