Job Description: Credit Controller
We are working with a business based in Bicester that is looking for a full-time Credit Controller to join their team ASAP on a temporary basis. This role is suitable for someone with previous credit control experience.
Responsibilities:
1. Collect overdue debts and identify resolutions for any issues delaying payment.
2. Check daily cash receipts from bank statements and allocate them to customer accounts.
3. Review the age of debts.
4. Review sales orders suspended for credit.
5. Review pro forma payments and release sales orders accordingly.
6. Check bank receipts for accuracy.
7. Identify continuous improvement opportunities to enhance customer account management and debt collection.
8. Update all customer accounts with direct debit details.
What they're looking for:
* Proven experience in a similar credit control role.
* Team player with good IT skills, including proficiency in Excel.
