Our school promotes high standards, kindness, and a love of learning. Due to a maternity leave, we are seeking a capable and passionate Year 3 Teacher to join our team from September 2025. This position is initially for the academic year, with the potential to become a temporary-to-permanent role for the right candidate.
Role Overview:
As a Year 3 Teacher, you will guide pupils as they enter Key Stage 2, helping them build independence, curiosity, and academic confidence. You will be responsible for maintaining a positive classroom environment and delivering engaging lessons, while supporting a smooth and nurturing transition from Key Stage 1.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons aligned with the Key Stage 2 curriculum

Monitor and assess pupil progress effectively, adapting teaching to meet diverse needs
*
Establish and maintain high standards of behaviour using strong classroom management skills
*
Build a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom culture
*
Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and school leadership
*
Engage with parents and carers to support pupil learning and wellbeing
*
Contribute to wider school life, including trips, performances, and themed activities
We Are Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*
Proven experience in teaching Key Stage 2, ideally in Year 3
*
Excellent behaviour management and classroom control
*
A deep understanding of the KS2 curriculum and assessment
*
A reflective practitioner who is enthusiastic, organised, and adaptable
*
A strong communicator and a committed team player
*
