Facilities Manager

Hereford Hospital | Property and Facilities | Permanent contract | Full time

Up to £40,000 per annum

37.5 hours per week

Nuffield Hereford Hospital currently has an opportunity for a Facilities Manager. Start your journey with us whilst we’ll support you to be your best.


The Opportunity

1. Provide a site presence (supported by the Senior Leadership Team) dealing with daily operational issues as they arise.
2. Assist the SMT with on-call (1 in every 4 weeks).
3. Organise, manage and monitor the overall Health and Safety function on behalf of the Hospital Director.
4. Take the lead in performance managing our outsourced Estates Management service provider (CBRE).
5. Manage our outsourced catering services provider, Sodexo.
6. Take the lead in key development projects impacting the hospital.


The Person

1. Experience of managing outsourced contracts.
2. A NEBOSH qualification or similar.
3. Experience of managing people.
4. An ability to develop strong relationships with a multi-disciplinary staff group.
5. To be able to work through personal influence.
6. To be diligent on prioritising and completing key tasks under your remit.
