We are working with a local manufacturing company based in Tewkesbury who has an exciting and varied opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to help support the Sales Team. This role will require excellent organisation, self-motivation, and attention to detail. Duties include: Job duties: * Sales Invoicing * Sales Credit notes * Posting bank payments to Sage * Credit Control * Bank Reconciliations * Month End Processes * Maintenance of various spreadsheets * Monthly revaluations of debtors’ ledger (foreign accounts). * Creating commercial invoices * Purchase Ledger Invoicing * Courier Queries * Coding and posting of petty cash/franking machine * Filing of invoices, PO’s and other paperwork * Perform additional ad hoc duties as necessary Ideal Requirements: * Previous PL, SL or accounts experience * Ability to work diligently and accurately with a keen eye for detail * Work to regular deadlines and get tasks completed fully and on time * Good communication and organisational skills essential * Willingness to take on new tasks and learn * Confident with Excel and Accounting systems (Sage systems ideally) Accounts System: Sage 200 Hours Per Week: Monday – Friday 37.5 hours per week 8.30am – 5.00pm (1h for lunch) Holidays: 22 days + BH Salary: £28K - £30K Bonus: Quarterly bonus based on company perfor...
