Key Responsibilities
Oversee the direct management of projects within the delivery function
Collaborate closely with service teams and senior stakeholders
Lead service change projects that improve services for residents
Deliver cost-saving measures to ensure the council's financial sustainability
Utilize programme and project methodologies to successfully deliver projects
Manage and support Project Managers or Project Support Officers
Navigate complexities within the organization to achieve project success
Engage service delivery teams in change initiatives
Job Requirements
Significant experience in Change & Transformation and Programme Management
Experience in managing programmes in local government is highly desirable
Proficient in agile and Prince2 methodologies
Strong influencing skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders
Excellent team player with the ability to collaborate in diverse teams
Proven ability to deliver positive change impacts and project benefits
Well-versed in service design approaches for people-centric service delivery
Ability to navigate complexities within organizations
