Corporate Services Manager My client is a well-established housing association based in Belfast who provide affordable homes within vibrant communities. Due to continued growth, they are currently seeking a Corporate Services Manager to join their team. This is a Full-Time, Permanent Position. Working hours: 37 hours per week. (hybrid) With a salary of £48,226 - £52,413 per annum (dependent on experience). Job Purpose: You will be responsible for ensuring the effectiveness of the company's governance, compliance, assurance and policy frameworks. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the post oversees operation of the Board and Committee, regulatory reporting, internal audit coordination, and risk management processes. Essential Criteria: A minimum of 3 years' experience gained in a similar/governance related role with lead responsibility for supporting a Board, its Committees and a Senior Leadership Team and within a challenging regulated environment. A degree in a related area OR be a Chartered Secretary or hold another relevant professional qualification. Demonstrable experience of planning, management and delivery of significant and complex projects. Experience in developing and implementing corporate policies or managing an overarching corporate policy framework as well as delivering a risk management function across an organisation including the preparation of the risk registers and monitoring implementation of the risk management policy. Ability to demonstrate experience in delivering key corporate compliance requirements, including in relation to complaints handling and information governance arrangements. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Manage the Corporate Service Office to provide executive support to the Chief Executive and Senior Leadership Team through diary management and administration. Participate in and produce minutes from SLT meetings. Circulate strategic and governance information from the Chief Executive to various stakeholders and ensuring this is formatted appropriately for the relevant audience, which could include turning verbal or written briefs into presentations, memos, emails, or reports. Undertake ad hoc project work, as directed by the Chief Executive. Ensure the delivery of the company's governance structures, including overseeing the planning of Board and committee work, ensuring compliance with related codes of governance and conduct, regulatory standards and remain abreast of current legislation and changes. Understand current and future governance requirements and key areas for development to continually review and improve our governance arrangements. Deliver a Board and Committee cycle with effective forward planning to provide high quality servicing of the Board and its Committees, leading in preparing accurate and timely agendas and ensuring effective paper dispatch, minute-taking, including collating and monitoring action points into a central tracker. Ensure the delivery of best practice Board member appraisals, skills assessments, and effectiveness reviews, in conjunction with the Chair, Chief Executive and independent consultants as required. Plan and manage the delivery of induction for new Board and committee members. Ensure all regulatory reports and returns, including to the Department for Communities, Charity Commission NI and Financial Conduct Authority, are submitted in a timely manner, co-ordinating and collating input from across the organisation.
