Garment Refinisher
Burgess Hill (outskirts), £12.62 p/h (plus generous target performance bonus), 40 hours per week, Flexi hours Monday to Friday - 6am or 7am start. The Role
We are working with a long-standing client based in a beautiful rural setting, just outside Burgess Hill who are seeking a motivated and proactive Garment Refinisher to join their busy team. In this role you will be providing garment decoration and applying company logos, some warehouse support and office duties in order to fulfil customer orders.
Due to the rural location, you will need to have your own transport as there is no public transport to this area.
Requirements
We expect the suitable candidate to have experience in operating automated embroidery machines to embroider designs on garments.
1. Work with maximum efficiency to ensure maximum output of work.
2. Observe sewing operation to detect defects in stitching and notify any faults to supervisor.
3. Apply customer logos to a range of indoor and outdoor work clothing using heat sealing presses.
4. Finish and Inspect garments after logo application for proper quality control.
5. Work accurately with attention to detail and efficiently to the highest standard of quality and meet timescales.
6. Undertake training deemed necessary to allow you to carry out your work safely and efficiently and assist in your personal development.
7. Assisting with general day to day department duties including Routine maintenance and cleaning of machines.
8. Assisting with warehouse support as required.
9. Assisting with office support as required.
