Job Details Job Details To conduct all operations in manufacturing to produce AMS cyanoacrylate medical devices and their associated packaging/accessories. To support the Production Supervisor in all aspects of safety, quality, cost, delivery, and people in line with business key performance metrics and business objectives. This role will report directly to the Production Supervisor. Key Responsibilities What will this role involve? Primarily the role will undertake all activities as directed by the production management team to include (but not limited to). Filling and sealing of glass / plastic ampoules. Loading of ampoules into dry heat sterilisation equipment. Assembling of applicators by manual and semi / automated methods. Loading of product into manual and semi/automated primary packaging equipment. Packaging of product by manual methods (including application of labels and self-adhesive tape) Conducting Quality Assurance / process control checks and tests as required. Adherence to PRA/PWI/SOP documentation. To have a proactive approach to safety by highlighting any observations or concerns. To always work in a safe manner. To ensure high standards of quality are achieved in line with Medical Device Standards ISO13485. Work to highest levels of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) across the manufacturing facility. Completion of batch documentation and associated documents to a high standard of Good Document Practice (GDP) Participate in achieving the production plan to achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction (On Time in Full – OTIF) To attend work prepared and on time, reporting any absence to the Production Supervisor prior to shift start. To develop your skills to enable flexibility within the team. To attend and actively participate in a Tier 1 pre-shift meeting. What we're looking for? Educated to GCSE level (including English and Maths) or equivalent. Previous experience in manufacturing environment, ideally with Cleanroom/Medical Device experience. Understanding of Health and Safety procedures. Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). The ability to accurately follow instructions. The ability to read and follow standard procedures. Ability to work well within a team. Ability to train to run multiple processes. Ability to be flexible with working hours to meet business demands.
