About the Role
:
Help make a meaningful difference to those living with sight-loss. The Ecommerce Manager will play a lead role in driving the strategic planning and execution of RNIBs retail ecommerce sales channels. This position will focus on maximizing website performance, optimizing the online store experience, implementing effective sales and marketing strategies, and leveraging data to drive insights and improve overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Execution:
1. Develop and implement RNIB’s overall ecommerce strategy to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
2. Develop and implement RNIB’s retail marketing strategy to achieve key ecommerce metrics and sales targets.
3. Identify and implement new growth opportunities across both D2C and B2B online channels.
4. Monitor and analyse ecommerce trends and competitor activities to stay ahead of the curve.
5. Develop a strategy of continuous improvement across the online channels using innovative tech solutions in collaboration with internal and external delivery teams.
Website & Online Store Management:
6. Oversee the development, and maintenance of both online stores.
7. Ensure the web-front and online stores are optimized for user experience and engagement.
8. Manage website content, SEO, product listings, and promotions to drive engagement and sales.
9. Collaborate with IT and marketing teams to implement new website features and functionalities.
Sales and Marketing:
10. Develop and implement online sales and marketing campaigns to drive traffic, generate leads, and increase sales.
11. Manage email marketing, social media advertising, paid search, and other digital marketing channels.
12. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop integrated marketing campaigns across online and offline channels.
13. Monitor and analyse sales and marketing performance to identify areas for improvement.
Data and Insight:
14. Track and analyse key ecommerce metrics, including website traffic, conversion rates, average order value, and customer lifetime value.
15. Use data to identify opportunities for improvement and make informed business decisions.
16. Generate regular reports and presentations on ecommerce performance.
17. Stay up-to-date on the latest ecommerce analytics tools and technologies.
Skills and Experience Required:
18. Experience in ecommerce management.
19. Proven track record of driving ecommerce sales growth and achieving business objectives.
20. Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms, digital marketing channels, and analytics tools.
21. Excellent project management, communication, and analytical skills.
22. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Additional Information:
23. This is a full-time position.
24. Some travel may be required.
