Role: Complex Injury Case Assistant Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 Location: Wakefield, West Yorkshire Contract: Full time, permanent, hybrid A respected and long-standing law firm is looking to appoint a Complex Injury Case Assistant to support its specialist claimant personal injury team. This opportunity would suit someone with prior experience in personal injury or legal support who is keen to build their expertise in high-value and complex injury work within a collaborative and client-focused environment. The Opportunity Working alongside experienced solicitors and senior team members, you will contribute to the handling of serious and life-changing injury claims. The role offers exposure to complex casework, providing both practical legal experience and direct involvement in client matters from instruction through to resolution. Key Responsibilities Supporting the progression of complex personal injury claims Drafting and preparing legal documents, correspondence, and court bundles Liaising with clients, medical professionals, barristers, insurers, and other external parties Collating and reviewing medical records, expert evidence, and supporting documentation Assisting with case preparation, including document organisation and trial bundles Managing diaries, arranging meetings, and coordinating conferences with counsel and experts Opening, maintaining, and closing files in line with internal procedures Providing general administrative and legal support to fee earners across the team About You Previous experience within a personal injury or litigation support role An understanding of the claims process, particularly within claimant work Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively Excellent written and verbal communication skills High attention to detail and accuracy Confident using case management systems and Microsoft Office A professional and empathetic approach when dealing with clients What's on Offer Competitive salary package Generous annual leave plus bank holidays Ongoing training and structured development opportunities Health and well being initiatives Company pension scheme Access to a range of employee benefits A supportive and team-oriented working environment How to Apply: If this vacancy is of interest, please click the apply button.
