We are excited to partner with a well-established client, who are recruiting for Payroll Specialist to manage payroll operations across multiple UK and Irish entities. This part-time role offers a flexible working pattern and the opportunity to join a collaborative, supportive team.
The Role
In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring payroll is accurate, timely, and fully compliant with relevant regulations. You'll handle payroll for a diverse group of employees, working closely with HR and finance colleagues to maintain seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Process monthly payrolls accurately and ahead of deadlines
2. Maintain and update payroll records regularly
3. Calculate payroll items including sick pay, holiday pay, maternity/paternity pay, salary sacrifice schemes, and benefits in kind
4. Work with HR to resolve any payroll queries and ensure data integrity
5. Support reporting, audits, and compliance requirements
Who We're Looking For
6. Proven payroll experience, ideally managing multiple payrolls
7. Strong knowledge of UK and Irish payroll regulations
8. Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy
9. Excellent communication and organisational skills
10. Proficiency with payroll software and Microsoft Excel
