The Role

As a Legal Secretary in a commercial department, you will be providing crucial administrative support, ensuring seamless operations and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
1. Efficiently manage attorney schedules, appointments, and deadlines.
2. Draft, proofread, and format legal documents and correspondence.
3. Maintain electronic and paper filing systems with utmost accuracy.
4. Assist in preparing materials for court filings, hearings, and meetings.
5. Conduct legal research and gather relevant case information.
Requirements:
Essential:
6. Previously worked as a Legal Secretary, Legal Admin, Legal Assistant or in a similar role.
7. Experience in commercial property / conveyancing work
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
10. Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite.
Desirable:
11. Level 2 legal secretary certification / diploma.
12. Familiarity with Investors in People and LEXCEL.
13. Experience in stamp duty and Land Registry applications.
