We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Automation Engineer to join our growing team.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, implement, and maintain PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) programs for automated industrial processes.
• Collaborate with engineers and other disciplines to understand automation requirements and develop solutions.
• Analyse and troubleshoot PLC hardware and software issues to ensure optimal system performance.
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including control logic diagrams, ladder logic, and code comments.
• Conduct system testing and validation to ensure functionality, safety, and efficiency.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest PLC technologies and industry standards.
• May involve travel to customer sites for installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
Your Profile
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in PLC programming and industrial automation.
• Strong understanding of ladder logic, control flow, and PLC hardware architecture.
• Proficiency in PLC programming languages, such as Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or Rockwell Automation.
• Experience with Human-Machine Interface (HMI) software and SCADA systems a plus.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
