We are seeking an eCare Digital IT Trainer to deliver high quality IT training to NHS staff across Cornwall. You will support the rollout and ongoing use of the eCare system and other core digital solutions used in clinical and operational settings.
You will train a wide range of staff, from those with limited IT skills to advanced users. You will adapt your delivery style to ensure all learners understand how to use systems safely, effectively, and in line with NHS standards. Sessions will range from one to one training to small groups, with occasional larger demonstrations.
You will develop and update training materials and user guides, support new system implementations, and resolve common classroom issues such as login errors, user account problems, and basic software faults. You will manage your own schedule, maintain accurate training records, and collect evaluation feedback.
You will be educated to diploma level or have equivalent hands on IT experience. You will have strong knowledge of MS Windows and MS Office, including advanced Excel skills. Experience of PAS, NHS, or other health related systems is desirable, along with informal coaching or training experience. You must communicate complex information clearly, remain calm under pressure, and work confidently without supervision.
You must be willing to travel across Cornwall several days per week and hold a full UK driving licence. Occasional evening or weekend working may be required.
This role offers the opportunity to play a direct part in strengthening digital capability across the local NHS and supporting safer, more effective patient care.
