Senior Account Manager, Pharmaceuticals, circa £50,000 + Bonus + Package, Surrey

We are recruiting a Senior Account Manager to join a growing pharmaceutical wholesaler based in Surrey. This company are part of a larger group of companies with headquarters in Europe, who are leading players in the pharmaceutical industry. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role, combining account management, coordination and identifying new opportunities within a fast paced, supportive team. This is a hybrid role with excellent flexibility on offer.
The role
As Senior Account Manager your responsibilities will include:
* Acting as the main point of contact for a portfolio of customer accounts
* Managing enquiries and maintaining strong client relationships
* Processing purchase orders accurately and in line with quality procedures
* Ensuring documentation is correctly filed and audit ready
* Supporting international requests for UK origin products
* Identifying new sales opportunities within accounts
* Assisting with regulatory and administrative paperwork
* Liaising with internal teams to ensure smooth communication and workflow
What we're looking for
To be successful in the role of Senior Account Manager you will ideally have:
* Experience in an account management, customer support or coordination role
* A background in pharmaceuticals or a regulated environment
* Export experience
* Wholesale experience would be advantageous
* Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
* Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
* Good IT skills, including MS Office (Excel, Outlook); SAGE is a bonus
