Description CThe project to construct a new membrane bioreactor to treat combined primary treated flows from Wigan and Skelmersdale WwTW’s to meet EA regulatory output dates in March 2030. The project briefly comprises a major reinforced concrete structure approx. 140m x 120m with walls up to 10m high on piled foundations and other associated structures such as chemical dosing plants and MCC kiosks/transformers. Approximately 20,000m3 concrete will be needed for the main structure. Significant mechanical and electrical pipework and equipment will be installed along with diversion of critical assets The role will be site based LI-KP1 Responsibilities Liaise with temporary works manager & co-ordinator to ensure permit to load in place for lifting activities Undertake CTRM inspections of the site, specifically relating to lifting on a regular basis to ensure all lifting operations being undertaken in line with the lift plans/permits Review and approval of all supply chain lift plans inc. issuing permits to lift Mentor less experienced Lift AP’s in the Engineering team Own and update lift plan register and lifting permit register Prepare and maintain lift plans for all self delivery works and issue lift permits Produce and maintain lifting equipment register Produce and brief RAMS for self delivery lifting activities Allocate duties and make appointments for all lifting personnel on site inc. maintaining a register Review RAMS that include lifting operations Knowledge, Skills and Experience Essential 10 years civil engineering Review and approval of lift plans for a wide range of lifting appliances Able to produce and brief lift plans for a wide range of lifting appliances Desirable Experience of tower cranes Qualifications Essential CPCS Appointed Person Lifting (Blue Card) SSSTS or SMSTS Full UK Driving Licence Desirable CPCS Temporary works supervisor
