FM Search & Select are looking for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to work with a reputable FM provider on exciting contracts across the Aberdeen area. Our client, a leading name in facilities management, is expanding their technical team and seeking a skilled and proactive electrician to join their mobile engineering division.
The Role:
As a Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for the planned and reactive electrical maintenance of commercial properties across Aberdeen and the surrounding region. This includes diagnostics, fault finding, repairs, and installations of electrical systems in line with current regulations and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities:

Carry out PPM (Planned Preventive Maintenance) and reactive maintenance on electrical systems
*
Respond to electrical faults, breakdowns and carry out efficient repairs
*
Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety procedures and legislation
*
Complete all required documentation and reporting
*
Liaise professionally with clients and site contacts
*
Participate in the on-call rota (additional allowance paid)
*
Work as part of a wider engineering and FM team to ensure client satisfaction
Requirements:
*
City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
*
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential)
*
Testing & Inspection (2391 or equivalent) desirable
*
Full UK Driving Licence
*
Previous experience in a facilities maintenance or building services environment
*
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
