At Telensa, we are looking for a Validation Engineer Apprentice to join our team in our office in Cambridge (Pampisford).

About the Role
This apprenticeship offers hands-on experience in our fast-paced environment, focusing on smart outdoor lighting control products, firmware behavior, and testing within an R&D setting.
During the 3-year program, you will:
1. Work with various departments including System Test, Hardware Development, and Product Management.
2. Learn to load firmware images, configure devices, calibrate, solder, conduct system tests, analyze logs, verify device behavior, and develop test strategies.
3. Assist in verification testing and develop troubleshooting skills.
Candidate Requirements
* Strong GCSE/BTEC results (Grade B/Level 6 in Maths, English, Science).
* Interest or knowledge in electronics, engineering, or computing.
* Experience with Raspberry Pi, Arduino, or similar projects is a plus.
* Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Good communication, teamwork, and motivation.
* Age 18+, resident in England, and willing to work in Pampisford.
