Job Summary

Bucklesham Primary School is looking for a part‑time Office Administrator (3 or 4 days a week) to manage general office operations and provide administrative support to staff, students and families.


Key Responsibilities

* Facilities management administration
* Reception and front of school duties
* PA support to the staff team and Headteacher
* Ensuring the office function provides a quality service and runs efficiently
* Planning, developing and monitoring whole school systems, procedures and policies
* First aid


Requirements

* Strong interpersonal skills
* Excellent customer service skills
* Office management and administration experience or similar
* Excellent organisational skills
* Ability to be flexible and adapt to multiple tasks

Additional Information

Location: Bucklesham, Ipswich, Suffolk IP10 0AX. Salary: £26,402 – £28,142 pro rata. Hours: 7.5 hours per day, 3 or 4 days a week, 8am–4:30pm, 39 weeks per year (unpaid one‑hour lunch break). Contract: Permanent. Job sharing available. Closing date: 9 July 2026.

It is also subject to a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and children’s barred list check.
