Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead medicinal chemistry strategy across the company`s discovery pipeline.
2. Drive hit identification, hit-to-lead, and lead optimization for novel small-molecule therapeutics.
3. Design and guide innovative degrader or bifunctional molecule strategies targeting difficult proteins.
4. Build and lead a high-performing medicinal chemistry team and collaborate with external CRO partners.
5. Partner closely with biology, structural biology, computational chemistry, and translational teams.
6. Advance first-in-class or best-in-class drug candidates toward IND-enabling studies.
7. Contribute to portfolio strategy, scientific publications, and investor presentations.
8. Maintain strong awareness of developments in targeted protein degradation, PROTACs, and novel modalities.
