The Role
This is a high-impact Group-level technical position where you will hold responsibility for the integrity and functionality of their entire enterprise system architecture. As the Systems Integration Specialist, you are the crucial technical bridge, ensuring seamless, scalable, and secure data flow between all internal and external platforms. You will design, develop, and maintain the complex connections that allow their core Transport, Warehousing, and Green Energy services to operate efficiently and enable the reporting that drives strategic decisions.
Responsibilities
* Design, build, and deploy robust, end-to-end technical integration solutions across the entire groups system landscape.
* API Management: Develop, document, and manage internal and external APIs (REST/SOAP) to facilitate reliable data exchange between critical business applications.
* Ensure the security and consistency of all integrated data, expertly utilising SQL for complex query writing, transformation, and database management.
* Lead the technical integration of our main ERP systems with operational platforms, including our IPAS and CMS systems.
* Configure and maintain integration pipelines involving Cloud Storage solutions, optimising performance and security standards.
* Ensure all integrations provide clean, real-time data feeds necessary to power business reporting and dashboards in PowerBI.
* Act as the Tier 3 support specialist for all integration-related issues, quickly diagnosing and resolving data flow failures.
Criteria
* Education & Experience: 5-7 years of dedicated professional experience in a Systems Integration, Middleware Engineering, or Data Architecture role, coupled with a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related technical field.
* ERP Expertise: Demonstrable, in-depth experience integrating major ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) with third-party software.
* Technical Stack Mastery: Expert command over middleware concepts and technologies, including strong practical proficiency with SQL, Cloud Storage platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP), and API design principles.
* Reporting Integration: Hands-on experience developing data pipelines specifically for Business Intelligence tools, ensuring optimal performance for PowerBI reporting.
* Platform Specifics: Prior experience integrating or managing data exchange within specific operational platforms like IPAS and general CMS systems is highly advantageous.
* Self starting and motivated to solve complex, cross-platform data synchronisation challenges.
