Purchase Ledger Assistant | Northampton | Up to £15ph | Hybrid working 7 month Temporary Assignment
Macildowie are working with this client based in Northampton to recruit for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their Commercial Department.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate looking for a flexible temporary role, offering up to £15 per hour, with a 7-month minimum assignment.
The role is 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, and comes with flexibility around start and finish times. Up to two days per week can be worked from home, once training is completed.
Key Responsibilities:
Placement of orders within the Commercial department
Processing purchase invoices accurately and promptly, using COINS
Providing general administrative support to both Surveying and Buying teams
Handling approval processes diligently
Resolving discrepancies between invoices, purchase orders, and receipts
Experience & Skills Required:
Previous experience in order placement and invoice processing
Experience using COINS (preferred but not essential)
Background in either finance or commercial support
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
