As Site Agent, you will be accountable for the daily management of projects ranging from £5k to £2m. Your responsibilities will include:
* Executing contracts in alignment with legislative requirements, health and safety plans, and quality standards
* Ensuring IRATA Code of Practice is adhered to
* Providing technical/IRATA input to the pre-construction team
* Delivering projects on time and within budget
* Collaborating with site staff and liaising with the commercial team to ensure compliance with tender allowances
* Continuously monitoring project progress against contract objectives.
* Identifying and managing changes to the contract
Skills Required
* Prior experience in all aspects of geotechnical projects (rail experience desirable but not essential)
* SMSTS certification
* IRATA competence or have held IRATA competence previously
* Experience at a Site Agent or Sub Agent level within a rail/geotechnical contracting environment
* Experience working on multi-disciplinary rail and geotechnical infrastructure maintenance frameworks
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment
