Motor Vehicle Technician – Fleet Operations
Location – Haydock
37.5 Hours per week average
Shift allowance applicable (approximately 12.5% uplift on top of basic salary)
Basic Salary: £31,049 to £37,796 per annum (AFC Band 5)
Responsibilities
The role of NWAS Vehicle Technician is to ensure all Trust vehicles (Petrol / Diesel / Hybrid and EV) are serviced, repaired and maintained to the Trust and DVSA’s exacting standards. The post includes the skilled service and repair of specialist ambulance equipment.
Qualifications
* Recognised apprenticeship such as Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent experience, combined with NVQ or C&G level 3 qualifications.
* A full UK driving licence with Category C1 entitlement is essential.
