Reporting to the Home Manager and group-wide Head Gardener, youll play an essential role in creating and maintaining the beautiful outdoor spaces that help our residents lead a fulfilled life. As part of your responsibilities, you will engage with residents to foster their interests in nature, plants, flowers, and the changing seasons. You will have a deep passion for gardening, as well as demonstrated experience in the field, a good understanding of horticulture, and ideally, an appreciation for a care home environment. Your creativity and expertise will be instrumental in crafting stunning outdoor spaces that our residents will adore. Youre confident using a wide range of garden equipment including power tools.
Youre polite, courteous, patient, and respectful, with good communications skills and literacy in English. Youre approachable, with a can-do attitude, a genuine interest in helping our residents make the most of our gardens and keen to learn and develop your knowledge.
