Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and Social Worker to join our Child Protection Team in Wigston with Leicestershire County Council.
Job Title: Social Worker - Child Protection Team (Wigston)
Location: Bassett Street, South Wigston, LE18 4PE
Pay Rate: £38 per hour
About the Role:
As a Social Worker within the Child Protection Team, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of up to 16 cases involving child protection pre-proceedings plans. You will work collaboratively with families and other professionals to ensure that children at risk are safeguarded and supported effectively.
Your key duties will include:
Managing complex child protection cases, ensuring children are safeguarded and their needs are met.
Implementing pre-proceedings plans, working with families to bring about change and improve outcomes.
Completing assessments and report writing, providing clear, concise, and evidence-based documentation.
Attending meetings, making recommendations, and working closely with other professionals to secure the best outcomes for children and families.About You:
To be considered for this role, you must:
Have substantial experience in child protection work, particularly in handling complex cases.
Be able to hold a caseload of up to 16 cases, ensuring high standards of practice and effective case management.
Be a qualified Social Worker (e.g., DipSW, CQSW) and registered with Social Work England.
Possess strong communication and assessment skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.Why Join Us?
