Your new companyI am partnering with a great organisation in Newcastle-under-Lyme who are looking for a Finance Manager to join their team and look after all aspects of financial management for one of the business entities. Your new roleAs a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:
* Managing all accounting operations, including nominal ledger, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and cash management.
* Supporting the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and reporting variances.
* Preparing timely monthly financial statements in accordance with the group timetable.
* Managing finance activities that provide analysis to help drive business decisions relative to improving service level, efficiency and customer service via streamlining processes and cost-savings projects.
* Cashflow reporting
* Leading the month-end and year-end close process ensuring timely reporting to the group.
* Ensuring quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
* Managing and complying with statutory reporting requirements and tax filings with HMRC.
* Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
* Establishing seamless internal relationships with Sales, Purchasing, and Operations to ensure transparency of reporting for optimal business results
