We are in search of a Senior Medical Planner to support our growing Health practice and continue the legacy of providing our clients and communities with creative design solutions that improve the health and human condition of those they serve.

Primary Responsibilities

* Provide planning, design and coordination support on projects and pursuits
* Engage in problem solving, teamwork, critical thinking, mathematical reasoning, and visualization to create accurate and detailed drawings
* Prepare drawings and specification documents
* Research, plan, design and administer building projects for clients, applying knowledge of design construction procedures, zoning and building codes, and building materials
* Understanding of healthcare trends
* Prepare health planning presentation drawings, diagrams, and narratives
* Assist the coordination of all disciplines related to the building design and health planning
* Research, plan, design and administer building projects for clients, applying knowledge of design construction procedures, zoning and building codes, and building materials
* Responsible for mentoring junior staff or other interested colleagues in health planning practices
* Perform other duties as needed


Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Architecture
* Master's degree in Architecture
* Minimum 7 years' experience in Health Planning
* Architectural registration
* Strong computer skills (AutoCAD, REVIT, Rhino, MS Office, Blue Beam)
* Advanced credentials desired (e.g. ACHA, LEED, EDAC, AICP etc.)
* Must be willing to travel
* Preference given to local candidates

Qualifications


Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Architecture or closely related field
* A minimum of 12 years related experience
* Strong organizational skills
* Knowledge of materials, methods and tools involved in the construction of buildings
* Understanding of design techniques, tools and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, prints, drawings and models
* An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
