Role Description
We are looking for a full time Warehouse Technician to join our team at our cask maturation warehouse in Glenrothes. On the job training and career progression will be forthcoming as the business grows.

Full-time, Monday to Friday, Day Shift.
Key Responsibilities
* Manual handling of casks
* Cask warehouse operations such as re-gauging, re-racking and cask integrity inspection.
* Accurate record keeping when filling and disgorging casks
* To maximise the effective use of resources to carry out all warehouse operations in line with business goals and objectives
* Maintain integrity and security of warehouse operations in accordance with H.M. Customs and Excise requirements
* Dilution and calculation of spirit to achieve target ABV
* Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement
* Use of a forklift to consolidate casks, pallets and IBCs.
* Responsible for the handling of goods incoming and outbound.
Skillset
* Technical and hands-on practical ability
* Physically fit and able to manually handle full casks
* Relevant forklift experience is preferable
* Self-motivated – ability to remain motivated when working by themselves
* Excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise and adhere to deadlines
* High attention to detail, especially to quality standards and compliance systems
* Ability to cope with change in a growing business
Personal Requirements
* Experience in a warehousing environment
* Experience working logistically or manually with spirits is preferred
* UK Driver’s license
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
* Communicate effectively across business using a variety of communication mediums
Base salary - £28,000
