Engine Maintenance Technician

MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Service Engineer for a power generation business maintain large Gas Engines based on sites around the North of Birmingham area.
As Engine Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for:
* Carrying out planned & unplanned maintenance on various peaking & landfill gas sites.
* Responding to breakdowns & carrying out repairs efficiently on large Gas Engines & CHP units.
* Operating within strict H&S standards.
* Ensuring all paperwork & legislation is followed & kept up to date.
* Working as part of an on-call rota with a team of other engineers.
* Other duties as required.
To be considered for this role you should have:
* Proven experience in an engine maintenance role.
* A relevant engineering qualification; Apprenticeship/SVQ/NVQ/BTEC/HNC etc
* Experience with gas engines would be advantageous.
* The ability to travel to varied sites with a flexible approach to hours.
* Full UK driving licence.

* Salary between £35,000 & £45,000 depending on experience
