Are you looking for a new challenge working as part of the Supply Chain team at Carlisle, responsible for producing some of the nations most loved biscuits and snacks?The Supply Chain team at the Carlisle site are looking to recruit into this key role, which will report directly to the Supplier Team Leader.What will this role achieve?The purpose of the role is to ensure that materials are available so that both production and customer demands are met, along with ensuring that logistics planning and related targets.The role is multi faceted and you must be able to manage both analytically and practically, at a site level.What will be your key deliverables?Responsible for Ingredients and Packaging ordering to meet the production planIngredients and packaging payment managementEnsuring the correct and timely submission / physical write off reports for Ingredients and packaging, including disposal managementManagement of transport ordering, including segregationManagement of WIP & Empty trays to other UK pladis sites and palletsMaintaining positive relationships with S&OP teamProvide cover for the Supplies Team Leader as and when requiredBring your experienceMicrosoft Excel – a minimum of intermediate levelMicrosoft Office – a minimum of intermediate levelKnowledge and experience of SAPKnowledge and experience of Autostore, ideally super-user levelExperience of managing relationships, both internal and externalFood manufacturing experienceFood Safety Level 1Our PurposeBring happiness with every biteIt’s a purpose that every one of our colleagues, all around the world believes in.
