Territory Account Manager - Packaging

This is a truly exciting opportunity for an ambitious Territory Account Manager, with a proven track record in both Account Management and Business Development to join our clients dynamic and high achieving sales team. On joining the company you will predominantly be responsible for managing an established account base worth in and around £4million, with a view to grow the accounts by effective networking and upselling, but there will be an element of new business required in your role, so being highly organised and demonstrating the ability to prioritise effectively is a must.

Your account base and target clients will be varied and include a mix of SME and Blue-Chip organizations within food & drink manufacturing, pharmaceutical, e-commerce and retail. Your clients and prospects will be based across the North West region but your manufacturing facility is based in Wigan, so being commutable to the site is essential and you must be happy to cover this as an overall territory.

You will be selling bespoke corrugated and flexible plastic packaging solutions. This is very much a solution sell, the sales process is not quick and involves influencing multiple stakeholders and working with design teams. This is an excellent opportunity for sales professionals with a high-energy levels who come across as highly credible, who take a solution based/consultative sales approach.

Candidates who have previously sold corrugated packaging solutions, or something closely related, at some point in their career would be the ideal candidate
· Individuals who have sold a physical product into Manufacturers & Distributors within the FMCG, Pharmacy & Ecommerce sector.
· Ability to demonstrate both strong account management and business development skills and the ability to manage your time effectively. Bonus / OTE: 26% of annual salary
