For the right candidate, there is also the potential for a TLR, linked to leadership in behaviour support, curriculum development, or pastoral care.

The Role

In this role, you will:
*
Teach a small class of primary pupils with SEMH needs, with high adult-to-pupil ratios
*
Plan and deliver creative, tailored lessons that meet pupils’ individual learning and emotional needs
*
Build trusting, consistent relationships to support emotional regulation, resilience, and self-esteem
*
Work closely with support staff, therapists, families and external professionals to support each child holistically
*
Contribute to the wider development of the school and lead on key areas if applying for a TLR
What We’re Looking For

A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with experience or a strong interest in SEMH/SEN
*
A patient, empathetic, and resilient individual who understands trauma-informed practice
*
A flexible, reflective educator who puts pupils at the centre of all decision-making
*
Excellent classroom management skills with a calm, consistent approach
*
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
*
