We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Specialist Eating Disorders Nurse Practitioner to join our Day Support Programme. We are seeking a caring and compassionate practitioner who is innovative, creative, flexible, and highly motivated to contribute to the delivery of high‑quality care within our specialist service.
Main duties of the job
* Deliver high‑quality, evidence‑based care.
* Develop and implement risk management and care plans.
* Facilitate and evaluate therapeutic group interventions.
* Provide specialist advice.
* Support service users during mealtimes.
* Undertake case management and key worker responsibilities.
* Supervise and support team members.
This vacancy is part‑time 30 hours per week. The Day Support Programme currently operates Monday to Friday, with staff working varying shifts between 08:30 and 19:30. Hours may change in line with service needs.

Qualifications
* Registered Mental Health Nurse
* Evidence of recent CPD and compliance with NMC revalidation
* Student Nurse Supervisor and Assessor
* Drivers licence with access to car for work purposes
* Experience of working in a community/in‑patient mental health setting
Experience
* Post qualification in‑depth experience within the field of mental health nursing
* Experience of providing supervision and line management of staff
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Salary
£39,952 to £48,117 a year. For part‑time hours the salary will be pro rata.
