We are looking for a SEND Lecturer with a genuine passion for transforming the lives of disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners.

Lecturer tasks and responsibilities:
* Delivering scheduled teaching and preparing engaging learning materials.
* Developing and evaluating GCSE and Functional Skills English/ Maths courses and assessments.
* Monitoring learner progress.
* Must be experienced in course review, moderation, and quality assurance.
* Providing advice and guidance to students.
* Participating in team meetings, and CPD.
* Promoting safeguarding, equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of teaching.
What We're Looking For: Essential Criteria:
· A recognised teaching qualification.
* GCSE-level education (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
* Experience teaching English/Maths GCSE & Functional Skills up to Level 2.
* Experience working with diverse learners with SEND.
* Strong understanding of the OFSTED framework for Further Education.
* Knowledge of GCSE and Functional Skills specifications.
* Ability to motivate students and guide substantial progress.
* Excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills.
* Minimum 5 years teaching experience
* Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and / or other Additional Educational Needs
* Enhanced DBS (we can help obtain this at cost if needed)
* Two professional references
* You must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK.
* It is a strict requirement that you have the ability to work in a way that promotes the health, safety and wellbeing of children and young people and follow safeguarding policies and procedures at all times.
Desirable Criteria:
* Experience arranging work experience for learners.
* Familiarity with awarding body policies and procedures.
