Job Description
Our client is a leading global HVAC manufacturer looking to recruit an Area Sales Manager who will focus on growing relationships with consultants and contractors in East Anglia and surrounding counties.
You’ll be promoting a complete range of HVAC solutions, from air handling units and chillers to fans, close control systems, and fan coil units within your region.
The role will be field based 3-4 days per week, and home based for the remainder.
You will work to targets in excess of £1.5M with order values typically between £20k-£300k, and a typical order cycle between 6-18 months.
You will be supported by various lead generation tools, CRM software, and technical product (application engineers) specialists.
Requirements
* Strong understanding of HVAC systems & products including AHUs, Fans, Chillers, Heat Pumps, FCUs, Air Diffusion & Distribution Systems
* Field-based sales experience via contractors and consultants or technical sales experience within the built environment
* Experience applying the HVAC products in various project types including Commercial, Education, Healthcare and Data Centres
* Mechanical Engineering or Building Services related qualifications or proven track record in HVAC Sales Engineer role
