About the role:
In this Sr. Business Development Role, you will be predominantly prospect-focused, owning the outreach & Go-To-Market strategy execution within your named accounts in the South European region. Operating with a creative and entrepreneurial mindset, you will drive interactions, build & nurture relationships, and aim to build a solid and sustainable sales pipeline across Blue Yonder’s market-leading portfolio and platform.
You will work closely with key functions including Marketing, Sales, Alliances, Industry Strategy, and our Solution Advisory practice. Join our highly skilled & motivated Business Development team and take on this exciting challenge!
What You’ll Do:
* Use prospecting strategies to initiate outreach to prospects and build relationships with key decision makers at targeted accounts (C level).
* Analyze potential customer’s critical business needs and challenges, identify and qualify their budget, timelines, and obstacles, and hand off to the appropriate sales personnel.
* Determine prospect’s interest and recommend suitable Blue Yonder products and services.
* Cover your assigned territory effectively, reaching as many contacts as possible.
* Participate in sales opportunity reviews and collaborate with Account Managers.
* Achieve quarterly lead generation goals.
* Communicate proactively with sales management via various channels.
* Qualify inbound and outbound leads through various outreach methods.
* Implement and analyze marketing and lead-generation programs.
* Maintain accurate sales activity records in the CRM system.
* Overcome objections and communicate BY’s value propositions effectively.
* Innovate new techniques for marketing BY’s products to secure new accounts.
What we are looking for:
* Minimum 3 years of inside sales/telemarketing experience in the software industry.
* Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Business, Commercial, or Technology.
* Outgoing, personable, and engaging communicator.
* Proven track record of exceptional lead generation.
* Experience in a team sales environment.
* Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
* Knowledge of CRM/SFA software; Salesforce.com experience is a plus.
* Fluent in English and either Spanish or Italian, with excellent communication skills.
