This is avaried and rewarding Horticulturalist role where no two days are the same. This is a hands-on role where youll be involved in every stage of plant care from arrival and maintenance to display and despatch ensuring customers receive healthy, high-quality plants every time.
You will be joining a busy production nursery and cash & carry based in Hertford
As a Horticulturalist your role will include:
* Caring for plant stock: watering, feeding, pruning, and maintaining health and vitality.
* Preparing, picking, and packing plants for customer orders with accuracy and pride.
* Supporting all areas of nursery production, including setting down arrivals and maintaining displays.
* Monitoring crops for pests, diseases, and irrigation needsacting promptly to keep plants in top condition.
* Following OH&S, plant health, and nursery protocols to maintain biosecurity and high standards.
