The
FileNet Engineer
will play a pivotal role in implementing, configuring, and maintaining IBM FileNet P8 environments within a regulated financial services organisation. You'll be joining a high-performing Agile delivery team governed by SAFe principles, ensuring seamless migrations, integrations, and workflow design that meet compliance and operational requirements.
Responsibilities:
* Implement, configure, and maintain IBM FileNet P8 environments (Content Engine, Process Engine, Content Navigator).
* Deliver content and email migrations from legacy platforms into FileNet repositories.
* Design, build, and maintain workflows, document classes, and content routing.
* Execute and support email journaling and archiving solutions for compliance.
* Manage third-party integrations and dual-running environments.
* Support change execution, including validation, troubleshooting, and risk mitigation.
* Produce operational documentation, runbooks, and repeatable processes using JIRA and Confluence.
* Collaborate with infrastructure, operations, and cybersecurity teams in a regulated environment.
Required Skills & Experience:
* Minimum
5 years' experience as a FileNet Engineer or similar ECM role.
* Strong technical knowledge of IBM FileNet P8 (Content Engine, Process Engine, Content Navigator).
* Proven track record in ECM migrations, integrations, and workflow design.
* Experience with email journaling and archiving solutions.
* Skilled in system configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and change management.
* Proficient in JIRA and Confluence with Agile/SAFe delivery experience.
* Familiarity with dual-running and legacy-to-target migrations.
Useful but Not Essential:
* IBM Datacap experience.
* Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) for ECM deployments.
* Understanding of records management and retention policies.
* Knowledge of DevOps practices and containerisation for FileNet lifecycle management.
