Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Glasgow for a Design and Projects Coordinator. The core mission of this new role is to work alongside and offer outstanding support to the design director, assisting in the translation and communication of interiors collections and driving forward our brand vision. Involving design acumen, aptitude with colour and a handle on international trends within luxury interiors. The role demand strong, well documented supplier and client relations, and project coordination acumen, both in and out-with the studio. The role invites an individual who is self motivated and passionate about design.
The coordinator will manage and oversee design and project workflows, ensuring effective collaboration between clients, manufacturers, and the design team. Responsibilities include coordinating timelines, handling communication across stakeholders, supporting the design process, and ensuring the seamless delivery of projects. The role involves close interaction with creative and technical teams to delivery collections and to execute design solutions that meet client briefs.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Project Coordination and Project Management to oversee and deliver successful outcomes.
Proficient Communication skills to liaise professionally with clients, manufacturers, and team members.
Expert aptitude in Adobe Suite, printed textile design, artwork engineering, graphics and colouration.
Experience in Interior Design and an understanding of Architecture to support creative and technical project solutions.
Organisational and time-management abilities to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Proficiency with design software and tools, and a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
Experience in luxury design or related industries would be an advantage.
Experience in coordinating junior team members and effectively delegating tasks.
Ability to be highly flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced and rapidly evolving environment.
