Be among the first 25 applicants. The Entertainer, Chesterfield Packers Row, is looking for a Seasonal Sales Assistant to help create memories for customers by helping them find the perfect toy or gift, keeping shelves full and the store welcoming during the busy Christmas period.
Key Information About This Role
* Rates of Pay: 16-20 year olds - £11.00 per hour; 21-year-old plus - £12.21 per hour
* Contract end date: 3 January 2026
* Our stores are open 7 days a week; you will need to be available to work at weekends, including Sundays
Hours
* 12-hour per week contract: you may work 4-hour shifts over 3 days, or two 6-hour shifts
There may also be an opportunity to work extra hours depending on trade. Seasonal contracts require working on peak days such as Christmas Eve, Boxing Day or New Year’s Eve.
Responsibilities & Expectations
* Support the store team with customer service, merchandising, and keeping shelves stocked
* Be flexible to work various shifts, including evenings and different days
* Help out in the local Tesco concession space as needed (merchandising, customer assistance, deliveries)
Requirements
* Reliable and flexible in hours; able to commit to weekends and peak periods
* Approachable and confident to deliver excellent customer service
* Physically fit and able to move stock, handle deliveries, and work with pallets
