Job PurposeDrive In Life projects to completionWorking across hardware and chemical PD teamsManaging Product changes and introductionProject Management of the removal of products at end of lifeAct as the Project Manager, supporting Project Leads on a number of I&PD projects as assigned,Ensuring The FollowingHelping to drive profit realisation in delivery of In LifeTo ensure all scheduled and unscheduled project activities are business case justified toensure correct prioritisation and identification of lower priority itemsProject Initiation & ScopingSupport the Project lead to clarify, define and document project scope and all activities at thestart of each project and manage any changes to the scope throughout the project throughchange control processes.Define and Monitor Project Timings and BudgetCreate high level and detailed project time plans with input from all areas of the project teamsand third party vendors, ensure these plans and activities are tracked and managed in JIRA ina timely managerContinually update the project timings ensuring all activity is up to date.Create and maintain project budget, ensuring Anaplan (PM Tool) is updated weekly withcurrent forecast, raise all POs and process all invoices for paymentUpdate Anaplan with project status weekly (RAG, Time, Cost, Risks & Issues)Project Team ManagementTo lead cross functional project teams, including (but not limited to) Category marketing,procurement, supply chain, quality, operations, regulatory, legal, vendors, through each phaseof the projects.To lead and manage external project partners and ensure alignment with plans and budgets.To manage and influence to ensure all activity is completed and the projects remain on track.Liaising, agreeing, involving and communicating all aspects of the project achieved viameetings and documentation to stakeholders.RequirementsEssentialProject Management certification - PRINCE 2 Practitioner, APM PMQ or equivalentMinimum of 3-5 years Experience in NPD Project ManagementAbility to support delivery of Projects which may be highly technical in natureExperience of managing multiple projects in a fast paced businessStrong in Budget management and financial reportingExperience of working with different job levels within a businessWillingness to travel to ensure programmes are delivered where requiredExcellent English written and verbal and communicationCapable of holding self and others to account with positive/win/win outcomesDesirableScientific or Technical background, Chemistry, Life Sciences. Electronics, Mechanical, Product Development, Engineering, Materials Science as examplesKnowledge and use of Jira software for task managementGoogle GSuite, MS Office inc. Project.
