Job Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to join Mallatite in our Rutherglen, Glasgow manufacturing base as an Apprentice Signmaker.
You will receive full training within our experienced team and have the chance to develop throughout your Modern Apprenticeship.
The successful candidates will study towards a nationally recognized Modern Apprenticeship Qualification in Signmaking SCQF 5, with full training provided to learn and develop within the department.
Upon successful completion, there will be an opportunity to progress to Signmaking SCQF 6.
You will also learn about quality checks to ensure our products meet high standards, in line with the council’s SOPs.
If you have completed a Foundation Apprenticeship in a related field, you will have an advantage. Please provide evidence of your qualification and relevant skills gained during your placement.
You should be educated to at least National 4 level, ideally in Maths and English, and be enthusiastic to learn and grow in the workplace.
A positive attitude and eagerness to learn are essential.
