Overview

Responsibilities
* Carry out functional assessments with claimants face-to-face, via video or telephone to assess their ability to undertake activities of daily living.
* Ask focused questions and use active listening and critical reasoning skills to gather accurate information.
* Produce high‑quality, structured clinical reports on all claimants assessed for submission to the DWP.
* Review evidence, request and evaluate additional evidence when required, and clinically triage cases to determine the correct assessment pathway.
* Work alongside other highly experienced clinical colleagues to ensure high‑quality and fair assessments for all claimants.
Qualifications
Minimum 12 months post‑qualification and registration experience as a clinician in the UK.
* NMC‑registered Adult Nurses (RGN, RMN, RNLD)
* HCPC‑registered Physiotherapists
* Occupational Therapists
Desired attributes: excellent communication and critical‑thinking skills, confidence using computers and learning new software, receptiveness to constructive feedback, ability to produce detailed reports, and a preference for a structured working environment.

* Predictable hours, Monday‑Friday 9:00‑17:00
