This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.


What you'll be doing:


1. Proactively source European football stories suitable for the GOAL audience
2. Manage a small team of freelance football writers based in India
3. Write engaging, SEO-friendly headlines in line with GOAL’s house style
4. Assign stories to writers, ensuring they have all the information required
5. Sub-edit and publish content to the highest possible standard
6. Liaise with other GOAL editors and writers to avoid duplication of articles
7. Provide writers with detailed feedback on their work to help them improve
8. Create eye-catching composite images using our photo content creation platform
