Purpose of Role
The Research Assistant working in this post will have the task of generating data for systems of low-dimensional correlated quantum matter, in particular for systems with superconducting properties, using both the Symmetric Tensor (SyTen) as well as the Algorithms for Lattice Fermions (ALF) software packages, as specified by the PI.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
1. Assisting in supervising student research assistants
2. Taking responsibility for participant recruitment including establishing and maintaining good relationships required to facilitate this
3. Contribute to quantitative data analysis and management of datasets
4. Have regular meetings with the project team to track progress, resolve any practical, technical or analytical issues
5. Contribute to manuscript preparation as a co-author
6. Contributing to the public engagement activities of the project
